As we were taking out our Christmas decorations from storage, I realized how few things we actually have. At first, I felt bummed or that I was slacking in the “decking the halls” department. But now after putting our home together, I’m realizing how much more I love simple fresh greens over anything else. Garland, bouquets, and little swags of greenery around the house make everything feel so much cozier.

I’m sure as the years go on, we will accumulate more and more decorations. For now though, I’m content with our very minimal Christmas home.

Since the orange garland is strung, and our Christmas tree is placed, what’s left is holiday baking, ornament hanging, present wrapping, and movie watching.
